Can I have a doula for a hospital birth?

Yes! In fact, most of our clients birth in hospital settings.

Do you take the place of my partner during labor?

Absolutely not. We are there to enhance the partner’s role.

Will a doula support me if I know I want an epidural or pain medication?

Your doula is dedicated to supporting you regardless of your pain management preferences.

What is a postpartum doula?

Postpartum doulas are non-medical professionals who provide informational, physical, and emotional support in the weeks and months following childbirth.

What services does a postpartum doula provide?

Do you offer nighttime doula support?

Yes, I do offer overnight support so you can get the sleep you need.

What services does a postpartum doula not provide?

Postpartum doulas do not perform medical tasks, such as exams or monitoring. They do not provide cleaning services beyond light housework or child care services for older children.
